About Us

D. W. Burr Landscape and Design, Inc. was founded in June, 1984. We are a full service landscape contracting firm providing landscape design, construction, and maintenance services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

David Burr, President and Founder, began in this industry working in a local garden center while going to school. As the interest in the business grew, he chose to attend The Stockbridge School of Agriculture, where he earned an Associate of Science degree in Landscape Operations. He later attended the University of Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design / Landscape Architecture.

D. W. Burr Landscape and Design, Inc. is located in the Farmington Valley of Connecticut. We have completed jobs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. We are one of the larger design build firms in our area, and have a solid base of commercial and residential maintenance accounts where we provide year round services including grounds care, pesticide applications, and snow removal. We work closely with general contractors, builders, property managers, and pool companies, helping to implement the landscapes.
